Omicron subvariants BQ.1 and BQ.1.1

About 70 percent of new cases in the week ending December 17 as BQ.1 was estimated to make up 30.7 percent of circulating variants, while BQ.1.1 was estimated to make up about 38.4 percent, CDC said.
